In the 1970 s and 1980 s, during the golden period of Taiwan's economic development, Wu Jieshu, who first came out of the ivory tower, entered an import and export trade enterprise to work. Because he frequently went deep into the first-line market, he keenly sensed the business opportunities in the filter market, and resolutely decided to cut into industrial production from the trade field. In 1981, Wu Jieshu registered the "Phoenix" brand in Taiwan and started a long entrepreneurial career.

I remember that at that time, a well-known automobile factory in Japan came to the factory to inspect and felt that our products were of good quality and wanted to give us the car filter to produce. At that time, the scale of the global automobile industry was gradually rising, and the demand for filters was strong, and there was no well-known filter company in Taiwan. In the 1990 s, the pace of China's reform and opening up accelerated, economic and trade exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait gradually became frequent, and a wave of investment from Taiwan businessmen to the mainland quietly struck. It was at this time that Wu Jieshu came to Dongguan and built the first Taiwan-funded filter factory in the mainland. Based on his previous foreign trade experience and market foundation in Taiwan, Wu Jieshu's business in Dongguan went smoothly and formed the embryonic form of Anhui Phoenix International business. "Because we do a variety of filters, and mainly export-oriented business, the land storage area and professional personnel requirements are very high." Wu Jieshu said that there are several main considerations for relocating to Bengbu. In addition to enjoying relevant land and tax incentives as a local investment promotion project, the main reason is that Bengbu has gathered a large number of domestic filter research and development and production talents. As early as the 1950 s, Bengbu was born in Bengbu, China's first automotive filter company-Bengbu Tractor Accessories Factory, which gave birth to a large number of automotive filter talents. It can be called the "Whampoa Military Academy" in the filter industry. Partner Chen Dengyu worked here in his early years and is currently the vice chairman and technology leader of Anhui Phoenix.

After settling in Bengbu, under the two-way blessing of resources and talents, the scale of Anhui Phoenix continues to grow. At present, the company has Huangshan Avenue, Xingzhong Road, Huaiyuan Industrial Park three major production plant, the number of employees has nearly a thousand people. In the past three years, the company's performance has grown steadily, with revenue breaking the 0.3 billion yuan mark for the first time in 2020, and net profit of 0.047 billion yuan, nearly double that of 2017.
